SewHope's Book DriveThe gift of literacy is a powerful one, critical to lasting change in Guatemala, and will benefit the community at large.
Elementary school is a critical time to develop literacy skills, and we know that being exposed to books from an early age is an integral part of the learning process. We would like to expand the book selection at our school, allowing students and families, of all reading levels, access to a wide variety of books.

WHAT'S NEW
MAY 2022
A team of volunteers recently spent three weeks in Guatemala, completing many large projects! Electricians from the United States have been working with our Guatemalan construction team for several months to lay the groundwork for electricity and internet in our new school. The moment the lights were turned on is one we will never forget. Watch the wonderful moment below!

Student Sponsorship Initiative
SewHope's education program is a half-day after-school program designed as a supplement to the public education system (all public schools are also half-day programs). We use individualized online programs in combination with direct instruction, small group work, hands-on activities and more to engage all types of learners.

Join this initiative and change a child's life! Beyond academic achievement, we value the development of each child's personhood. We envision students transformed by the love of God and equipped with the skills and tools needed to self-determine their futures.
