Is your company, church, or group of friends interested in hosting a food packing event? Help us send 250,000 meals to
Guatemala in November 2024!
SewHope partners with Kids Coalition Against Hunger to hold food packing events in the Toledo area and would love to partner with you. 1/3 of the food stays local, going to a charity of your choice, 1/3 gets sent to Guatemala to feed hungry families, and 1/3 is sent to KCAH partners around the globe. These events are full of energy, as people come together to pack meals for our neighbors near and far.
Basic requirements to host an event:
1. Fundraise at least $3,500, enough to pack 10,000 meals
2. Coordinate volunteers (30 volunteers can pack 10,000 meals in approximately 1.5 hour)
Many organizations partner together, decreasing the financial strain on both while fostering friendship, all in the name of fighting against hunger.
Sign up to host a packing event in the coming year. We are excited to have the opportunity to work with you!

Students who have no access to nutritious meals or vitamins eat the vitamin-fortified meals at SewHope school daily. In the Toledo area, one in five children face food insecurity and daily hunger. These meals make immediate impact on the community of Santa Ana, and in Toledo.
